GLOBIS Europe Hosts Alumni Gathering and Japanese Leadership Seminar in Paris

On May 31 and June 1, GLOBIS Europe brought together MBA alumni and business professionals in Paris for two in-person events celebrating lifelong learning, community, and Japanese management philosophy.

The first event was an MBA alumni gathering and workshop led by Toru Takahashi, focusing on Japanese philosophy and management. Alumni from both the Japanese and English MBA programs joined the session, creating a rich cross-cultural exchange of perspectives and experiences. The gathering also offered graduates an opportunity to reconnect, meet fellow alumni, and explore new synergies within the GLOBIS community.

The following day, GLOBIS Europe hosted a panel discussion on Japanese leadership, together with Takashimaya France President and GLOBIS MBA alumnus Tomohiko Taya. The seminar welcomed close to 70 participants and introduced Japanese business principles to a European audience, highlighting how Japanese management practices can offer valuable insights for European leaders. 

We were delighted to see such strong engagement from the audience, with thoughtful questions and many participants staying afterwards for networking. The events showed the continued interest in Japanese management philosophy in Europe and the strength of the GLOBIS community across cultures.
