In today’s global business environment, leaders are expected to work across cultures, adapt to rapid change, and make decisions that create value for people and society. Developing this mindset requires curiosity, cultural understanding, and the courage to explore new paths.
Our speaker for this seminar, Laura Bonamici, SVP and Head of Global Marketing at Fujitsu Limited, has developed her leadership career across finance, startups, and technology. After moving to Japan in 2022, she has led global marketing initiatives that combine data-driven strategy with a deep appreciation for Japanese management principles such as long-term thinking, mutual benefit, trust, and collective intelligence. Her journey from a small Mediterranean island to a global leadership role in Tokyo highlights how curiosity shaped her growth and how diverse experiences strengthened her leadership style.
Joining her in dialogue is Tomoya Nakamura, Managing Director of KIBOW Social Impact Investment and former Dean of the English MBA Programs at GLOBIS University. With a background that includes trading, private equity, corporate philosophy, and global education, Nakamura-sensei connects practical leadership with concepts such as kokorozashi and Japanese management.
Together, they will discuss how modern leaders can integrate purpose, data, and emerging technologies while staying grounded in their values, and why curiosity remains one of the most important qualities for anyone aspiring to lead globally.
At this seminar, you will:
- Learn how curiosity, culture, and courage shape modern global leadership
- Explore how purpose, data, and AI can strengthen decision-making and innovation
- Gain insight into Japanese management philosophies and their relevance today
- Hear practical advice for building your own global leadership mindset
