Dr. Takaoka has extensive experience consulting across the globe. For the past thirteen years, she has worked at McKinsey’s Frankfurt and Tokyo offices where she has done management consulting, followed by human resources consulting in London and Tokyo. Most recently, Dr. Takaoka has taken a regional role in Asia for assessment practices at Willis Towers Watson, a leading human resources consultancy. Her expertise lies in CEO succession planning, executive assessment and development, and board effectiveness.
While teaching at GLOBIS University, she continues to research corporate governance at her alma mater, Hitotsubashi University. Dr. Takaoka is a member of the Japan Association of Corporate Directors and holds qualifications from the British Psychological Society, Hogan assessment, OPQ assessment, and Saville assessment.
