GLOBIS Dean Shares Insights on Corporate Transformation in Oman

On June 18, GLOBIS University Dean Satoshi Hirose visited Muscat to deliver a seminar on Leading Successful Corporate Transformation: Blending Japanese Tradition with Global Competitiveness at the Royal Academy of Management, in collaboration with GLOBIS Europe.

More than 60 participants attended to explore why businesses get stuck and how to turn them around. Dean Hirose shared an eight-step framework for successful transformation, drawing on case studies from Japan and highlighting the strategic strengths of both Japanese and Western management styles. The discussion also touched on how these lessons can be applied to the Omani business context.

The seminar sparked thoughtful questions and left attendees with actionable insights on leadership and change. We thank the Royal Academy of Management and all who joined us, and look forward to continuing these conversations in the region.
