GLOBIS Hosts Dr. Suad Al Mudhaffar for Film Screening & Dialogue in Tokyo

On October 15, GLOBIS Europe hosted Oman Meets Japan: A True Story of Kokorozashi in Tokyo, featuring Omani educator Dr. Suad Al Mudhaffar. The event included a screening of her documentary Mudira: A Story from Oman, a Q&A session, remarks by the Omani Ambassador, and networking. 

The film follows Dr. Suad’s inspiring journey as a Japanese woman who embraced Islam, became Omani, and in the 1980s set out to make education accessible for all. Nearly 100 guests joined to hear her story, many calling it “deeply moving” and “inspiring.”

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Said Albusaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Japan, delivered a speech on the warm relations between Japan and Oman, while Aiste Dewulf, CEO of GLOBIS Europe, moderated the dialogue.
