GLOBIS Hosts 50 Omani Students for Leadership Program in Collaboration with The Royal Academy of Management
GLOBIS concluded a successful collaboration with The Royal Academy of Management, Oman, delivering a key module of the “Future Leaders Program” to 50 promising young Omani professionals.
These participants, carefully selected from a highly competitive pool of 5,000 applicants, represent emerging leaders aged 25 to 34 from both the public and private sectors. The program, which ran from September 22 to 27, provided them with an immersive experience in Japan, focused on global best practices in innovation, change management, and sustainable leadership.
Over the course of five intensive days, the participants visited five key Japanese cities: Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya, Hitachi, and Mito. They engaged with top Japanese industry leaders, including visits to renowned companies such as Toyota and Hitachi. The program, inspired by Wakon Yosai (Japanese Soul, Western Technology), also offered unique insights into Japanese management principles and leadership development, including sessions on Zen philosophy and Aikido as a tool for leadership.
One of the highlights was an exclusive meet-and-greet with GLOBIS Founder and President, Yoshito Hori, in Mito, where he shared his insights and discussed future opportunities for collaboration.
The program culminated in final presentations and a networking event held at GLOBIS in Tokyo, providing the participants with an opportunity to showcase their learnings and expand their professional networks.
Following the success of this program, Yoshito Hori will visit the Middle East in October to further strengthen ties with The Royal Academy of Management. His visit will include participation in the 8th Future Investment Initiative conference, as well as GLOBIS-hosted events in Riyadh and Muscat.
This collaboration underscores GLOBIS’s commitment to fostering global leadership and expanding its presence in the Middle East. The “Future Leaders Program” exemplifies GLOBIS’s dedication to developing visionary leaders who can drive innovation and make meaningful contributions to their nations.
