Kelvin Song

Kelvin Song

MBA, IE Business School

Kelvin Song joined GLOBIS University in 2015 to help launch the online MBA program. He currently leads the Marketing and Data Analysis Team, in addition to teaching technology- and analytics-related courses and assisting with project management for the university’s IT system. Previously, he served as head of the content office, where he worked with top industry experts to bring the latest knowledge in digital technology and management to the MBA curriculum.

Prior to joining GLOBIS University, Kelvin spent more than eight years as a software engineer at Toshiba Corporation. He was the lead engineer for Toshiba PC’s flagship image-enhancement technology, Resolution+, and was one of the core members in the research and engineering of 3D multimedia solutions. This work included the world’s first glassless 3D laptop, Qosmio F750. After completing his part-time MBA online, he moved to product planning and marketing as a product manager for the Toshiba Canvio brand.

Originally from Singapore, Kelvin holds a first-class honors bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Nanyang Technological University and an MBA from IE Business School. He has also attended executive programs from Soochow University, Fudan University, University of New South Wales, and Harvard. He is fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin, and Japanese.
