Suzuka Kobayakawa
GLOBIS University Faculty
Suzuka Kobayakawa started her career in Japan designing human resource training and recruitment plans for more than 900 client companies at Recruit Co., Ltd.
Utilizing her business and training expertise for marginalized groups outside of Japan, she lived in the US, Nepal, and Nigeria. In the US and Nepal, she worked as program coordinator for peace-building training programs. As reporting officer of the United Nations Development Programme in Nepal, she started a business to support ex-child combatants upon their return to civilian life. In Nigeria, she worked for a rapidly growing startup company as project manager for mobile savings and payments, aiming to enhance financial inclusion for low-income communities.
She is a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar (2009), World Learning Fellow (2010), and Acumen Global Fellow (2014).
At GLOBIS University, Suzuka is engaged in the development of courses for critical and analytical skills while developing impact investing deals for the KIBOW Foundation.

Sven Van Stichel
COO & CMO, GLOBIS Europe BV
Sven is a seasoned marketing and sales professional with over fifteen years of experience in the Asia-Pacific region. A certified digital marketer, he has significant expertise in developing market entry and digital marketing strategies, as well as cultivating sales channels. He has worked as a consultant for corporate clients in the pharmaceutical, IT, and financial sectors to aid clients through global HR development programs and business diversification initiatives.
A graduate of the prestigious KU Leuven University in Belgium, Sven obtained his master’s degree in Japanology and spent one year as an exchange student at Sophia University in Tokyo. He later obtained his MBA from GLOBIS University. Sven also completed executive programs in entrepreneurship at the China Europe International Business School in Shanghai and in negotiation dynamics at INSEAD in Singapore.
Sven joined GLOBIS Corporation in 2010 and is currently heading GLOBIS Europe BV as COO/CMO. As a faculty member at GLOBIS University, he is also engaged in curriculum and content development in the areas of marketing and strategy.
