The objective of this course is to teach students how operation management and supply chain management can be utilized when making managerial decisions. In this course, students will:
– learn about operating systems
– analyze production process and study the impact of production management on quality and delivery
– be introduced to theories such as bottleneck analysis and business process control
– conduct repeated decision-making simulations under certain circumstances
– learn how to distinguish between organization’s operations and the company’s competitive advantage.

Analytical skills are important in business in various jobs and functions within an organization. The objectives of this course are to understand the necessary principles and methods of basic quantitative analysis and gain the ability to use quantitative analysis to facilitate decision-making in practical business settings, such as in business planning or creating proposals.

Accounting is a minimal requirement for business managers. The objective of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge and understanding of financial and managerial accounting, as well as the ability to make decisions based on accounting data.

This course is targeted toward students who want to take a serious look at the core challenges that Japanese management faces as well as the possibilities of Japanese management, and those who want to study the effects of history, culture, and institutions on management.

As the pace of change in the business world increases, there is a growing demand for business professionals with the capacity to analyze information and make appropriate decisions rapidly. Moreover, there is a growing need to communicate with diverse audiences, both inside and outside one’s organization. In this course, students will learn to perform critical evaluations with fewer preconceptions and identify new ways of solving problems.

This is an advanced accounting course that is meant to be taken after completing the Essentials of Accounting and/or The Essentials of Finance. Or if you take the course immediately you are required to have a basic understanding of the structure/rules of financial statements, indicator analysis, accounting principles/policies, accounting frameworks, and analytical methods.
The objective of this course is to learn how managers use financial information to make decisions by understanding how to identify and solve problems, and how corporate strategies affect a company financially.

In this course students will develop an understanding of fundamental marketing and strategy frameworks and methodologies. Through short case studies covering a diverse range of businesses, students will enhance their ability to analyze, solve problems and make decisions about marketing and strategy from the perspective of top management.
As practicality is the focus of our program, we look for participants who have quality hands-on working experience and will actively contribute to our discussion-based courses.
