GLOBIS and J-BIG Host Seminar on Values, Leadership, and Purpose featuring Olympus Manager Dr. Harald Dremel
On September 29, 2023, GLOBIS and J-BIG initiated a collaborative seminar series highlighting the distinctive experiences of Japanese companies in Europe. The inaugural edition featured Dr. Harald Dremel, Managing Director DACH of Olympus Deutschland GmbH, who explored the challenges of cross-cultural adaptation for businesses.
Dr. Dremel, a German native, has been an integral part of Olympus in Germany since 1996, offering profound insights into the European market’s complexities. Beyond his current role, he holds a Ph.D. and is a seasoned innovator in the medical field, adding a unique angle to the discussions.
The event, attended by 80 individuals from Japan and the EMEA region, concluded with a lively Q&A session.
As Japanese companies progressively broaden their presence in Europe and the EMEA region, the demand for practical guidance on optimal business practices continues to surge.
