Biography:

Dr. Meri Rosich drives digital transformation with the strategic use of data and AI. She has had the privilege of leading the data teams for global organizations as chief data officer, transforming organizations into data-first cultures, and creating business value with data by using innovative data solutions. She has enjoyed a global career leading technical teams for organizations such as Standard Chartered, Amex, Docomo, Samsung, Bertelsmann, and Visa. She has lived in New York, London, and Barcelona, but has spent the past fifteen years in Asia—Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore.

As a lifelong learner, she recognizes the importance and joy of growth and personal development. She has an MBA from the London Business School with a special graduation award, a PhD summa cum laude in tech strategy VR from the University of Barcelona, and a Doctor Europeus Honorific Mention. Great professors inspired her to learn by teaching, and that is how she became an adjunct professor of Leading Big Data Strategy at GLOBIS University.

Making things happen requires an entrepreneurial mindset, and she has learned to balance corporate life with start-ups. She enjoys sharing stories at industry events and mentoring women to build the next generation of tech leaders. With a strong belief that giving back is important, she supports inclusive leadership and data literacy initiatives. Over the years, she has served as advisory board member of the Data Literacy Project, a UNDP fintech mentor, ambassador for the UN Women STEM program, board member of the United Nations Association of Singapore, and committee member of SG Women in Tech. She cofounded the Female Founders think tank, the Digital Ethics Research Center, and the Women Data Leaders network.

Dr. Rosich has been honored with recognition as one of the “100 Women in Tech” and “30 People Who Are Changing The World” by the London Business Review, as well as “Most promising Female Developer,” a “LinkedIn Top Voice,” and the “Moebius Digital Award,” among others. What drives her is impact and coaching high-performing teams to achieve their potential.
