Biography:
Meri Rosich has led data and digital transformations at several global organizations, including Amex, Bertelsmann, Samsung, Docomo, Visa, and Standard Chartered as chief data officer and chief information officer. Her diverse leadership experiences span several countries, enabling her to provide a global, cross-cultural perspective, particularly in Asia. She has also founded several startups.
Dedicated to making a positive impact as a responsible corporate citizen, Meri is an advocate of lifelong learning. She is passionate about leveraging technology for positive change and advocating for ocean conservation and the blue economy. She has served on various boards, including the Data Literacy Project, the UN Development Program Fintech, and the UN Association of Singapore. She was also an ambassador for the UN Women STEM program and cofounded both the Female Founders think-tank and the Women Data Leaders network. Currently, she serves as a committee member of SG Women in Tech and the Singapore Computer Society.
Meri has enjoyed various accolades, including being named among Asia’s 100 Most Powerful Woman Leaders, Top 100 World CDOs, 100 Women in Tech SG, and Most Promising Female Developers. She was a Top Voice and a Moebius Digital Award winner, among other accomplishments.
Meri holds an MBA from the London Business School, a PhD in tech strategy from the University of Barcelona, and a Doctor Europeus Honorific Mention. At GLOBIS University, she lectures about technology and innovation.
