GLOBIS Hosts Seminar on Japanese Leadership Philosophy in Düsseldorf
On June 11, GLOBIS Europe welcomed professionals and business leaders to Düsseldorf for an in-person seminar, Japan’s Wisdom – A New Lens for European Leaders, featuring Tomoya Nakamura, GLOBIS Managing Director, teacher and Managing Partner of KIBOW.
During the session, Nakamura explored how traditional Japanese concepts such as Dō (The Way), Wa (Harmony), Zen, and Kokorozashi (Personal Mission) can help leaders navigate complexity, uncertainty, and change. Through practical examples and case studies, participants gained insights into how Japanese organizations approach long-term thinking, stakeholder-centered management, and human development.
The event attracted 80 professionals from across the region and sparked lively discussions on leadership, purpose, organizational culture, and sustainable business practices.
We were delighted to see such strong engagement and interest in Japanese leadership approaches. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Düsseldorf, and we look forward to welcoming you to future GLOBIS events across Europe.
