GLOBIS Europe Advances Strategic Collaboration in Muscat
In late November, GLOBIS Founder and President Yoshito Hori travelled to Muscat with colleagues from GLOBIS Europe to advance collaboration with key partners in Oman. The program combined Hori’s first meeting as a member of the Royal Academy of Management’s International Advisory Board with site visits and interviews at the Academy, a GLOBIS hosted luncheon for leaders, and an evening seminar that brought together nearly two hundred participants.
Hori’s participation in the inaugural meeting of the International Advisory Board marked the start of his two year tenure. Discussions focused on leadership and management education in Oman and on future areas of cooperation. This engagement builds on the partnership launched in 2024, when GLOBIS facilitated an education module for fifty students of the Royal Academy of Management (RAM).
During the visit, GLOBIS representatives toured RAM facilities and took part in a series of interviews and conversations that highlighted the Academy’s role in developing future leaders. The exchanges underscored a shared interest in practical and values driven management education.
GLOBIS also hosted a luncheon in Muscat that brought together business leaders, diplomats, and entrepreneurs, including Dr. Suad Al Mudhaffar, HE Dr. Ali Qassim Jawad Al Lawati, and HE Mr. Kiyoshi Serizawa, Ambassador of Japan to Oman. Discussions touched on emerging opportunities for collaboration and the growing relationship between Japan and Oman in various fields.
The visit concluded with an evening seminar at the Mandarin Oriental, Muscat, where nearly two hundred members gathered to explore the future of business education. The session was moderated by GLOBIS Europe CEO Aiste Dewulf and featured active engagement from the audience.
These initiatives highlight a shared commitment between GLOBIS and its Omani partners to advancing practical, values driven leadership education. Building on this momentum, GLOBIS looks forward to expanding its contribution to the country’s management landscape.
